Maldives Retirement Pension Scheme allows eligible members to withdraw a portion of their Pension Savings for Hajj Pilgrimage. Members having a Retirement Savings Account balance above MVR 336000 are considered eligible for this service and can fund up to 80% of their Hajj Pilgrimage cost through MRPS.

If a member plans to utilize pension savings for Hajj, it is always a good idea to save separately for Hajj by paying voluntary contributions, this would help reduce the impact on members pension savings due to early withdrawals and utilizing pension savings for purposes other than to receive a pension.
